Where a facade becomes visible for the first time

On screen, every klinker looks the same. In reality, it does not. How warm a red really is, how light glances across a sanded surface and how much the joint shapes the overall look only become clear on the wall.

That is why we do not show our klinker as single bricks but laid on large panels, in a real bond with real joints. Colour play, joint pattern and surface become visible just as they will on the facade. Central Switzerland now has a place where klinker facades can be compared side by side.

What you will see

From reclaimed bricks with a history to the slender long format: the showroom covers the full range of what a klinker facade can be.

  • Re-use klinker

A second life for used bricks, with patina and history.

  • Ring kiln firing

Lively colour nuances that only the fire of the ring kiln creates.

  • Water-struck

Soft, handcrafted surfaces with gentle edges.

  • Extruded

Clean and precise, for calm, exact facades.

  • Ultima long formatOur highlight

Long, slim bricks for a particularly horizontal, elegant look.

Wall build-up you can touch

A klinker facade is more than its visible layer. That is why section models complement the sample walls. With them we discuss wall build-up, insulation, anchoring and window junctions with you, right at the model rather than only on the drawing.

Then we sit down with you at the large table: with plans, sample bricks and time. We lay bricks side by side, discuss format, bond and joint colour and answer technical questions on the spot.

The same clay since 1860

As you enter, a large historic photograph greets you: the workforce of the Körbligen brickworks with their horse teams, more than a hundred years ago. It is a reminder of where we come from. We have been firing bricks here for six generations.

And the brickworks is not history, it is right next door: through the showroom windows you look straight into our brick production.
